DESCRIPTION:The DPRTE arms fair has so far been chased out of venues in Bri
 stol\, Cardiff and Birmingham\, and is now hiding behind the barbed wire f
 ences of Farnborough Airport at its International Exhibition and Conferenc
 e Centre.  This year\, campaigners want to chase it out of Farnborough!\n
 \nGreater Rushmore Action for Peace is organising a demonstration and vigi
 l on 5th October\, at or near the exhibition centre.\n\nThey say:\n\n“Th
 e DPRTE arms fair at Farnborough Exhibition and Conference Centre brings t
 ogether some of the world’s biggest arms manufacturers\, research compan
 ies and component makers.  Exhibitors include BAE Systems\, Raytheon and 
 Lockheed Martin\; companies connected to the conflicts in Yemen\, Palestin
 e and around the world.\n\nWe are ashamed that Farnborough is hosting an a
 rms fair: we want the arms fair to be cancelled.\n\nWe want the exhibition
  centre to adopt an ethical exhibition policy to ensure that future events
  that take place reflect the highest moral standards.”\n\nFind out more\
