SUMMARY:Solidarity with Afghanistan Day of Action
DESCRIPTION:There will be a morning of workshops on the second day of actio
 n to #disarmDSEI\, including rebel clowning and banner making.\n\nThe afte
 rnoon will be focused on standing in solidarity with Afghani people.  Afg
 hanistan is a clear example of the damaging effects of the arms trade.  T
 here will be talks to inform you of what's going on in Afghanistan\, how y
 ou can help and an opportunity to show that we welcome Afghani refugees he
 re!\n\nJoin us\, and bring your own banners\, placards\, snacks\, and crea
 tive actions.  There will be talks\, performances and actions\, celebrati
 ng the future we want to see\, where migrants and refugees are welcomed\, 
 not arms dealers.\n\nFeel free to just turn up on the day\, or message us

 \nIt is crucial that everyone joining this wonderful week of resistance ad
 heres to the Stop the Arms Fair Safer Spaces Policy.  Please also take a 
 look at Campaign Against Arms Trade’s Action Guidelines on interactions 
 with the police – who protect the arms trade\, are part of the arms trad
 e\, and are institutionally racist – and on directing our protest at the
  arms industry (and so being mindful of the local community!).\n\nGreen an
 d Black Cross will be coordinating legal observers throughout the week of
