During both the set up week and the week of the DSEI the Stop the Arms Fair coalition will be there to say no to warfare, no to genocide and no to militarism.
On Monday 1st September we will begin setting up camp for the ‘set-up week of DSEI. The camp will be at the east end of Excel Centre, between Prince Regent DLR station and Royal Albert Way. The camp will provide 2 meals a day, a well-being space and portable toilets.
Throughout that week groups will protest the set up of the arms fair and run education and creative sessions. Check out the events page for info. It will end with a festival of resistance on Sunday 6th.
DSEI opens on Tuesday 9th September and finishes on Friday 12th. The focus of our protest will shift to the west entrance of the Excel Centre where the delegates arrive for DSEI. Beginning with a silent vigil on Monday evening, there will be protest all week until Friday. Please see the events page info for themed days and timings. Tuesday will be the biggest day of protest.
During the week of the fair, the camp will not be running but there are cafe near Excel and the friendly Garden Cafe a short walk away.
