Merchants of Death Walking Tour by Quaker Roots

Join Quaker Roots for a ‘Merchants of Death’ walking tour of the London headquarters of several major companies with deep involvement in the arms trade.  We expect that Quakers will lead a short Meeting for Worship at each site.

Meet at 11am at Friends House – opposite Euston Station – and finish back at Friends House at 1pm.  The walk will cover 2 to 3 miles through central London and end in easy reach of underground stations.

Quakers say that refusal to fight with weapons is not surrender.  We are not passive when threatened by the greedy, the cruel, the tyrant, the unjust.  We will struggle to remove the causes of impasse and confrontation by every means of nonviolent resistance available.
