This month the world’s biggest arms fair – Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI) – is coming to London. The companies that profit from war and state violence in Afghanistan, Colombia, Palestine, Yemen and across the world will be parading their weapons and making deals.
Join Sisters Uncut at 6-7pm on Thursday 9th September for a special one hour ‘Sisters Learn’ webinar to learn more.
– What is the DSEI arms fair and why must we resist it?
– How does the arms trade connect to state violence, here and globally?
– Why is stopping the arms trade a feminist issue?
The webinar is public and open to all, and will be recorded. Only the speakers’ cameras will be visible, not those of attendees.
The Zoom link will be posted to the Facebook event on the day.
