Trade Unionists say Shut Down the Arms Fair

We are calling workers and trade unionists to mobilise against the DSEI arms fair, coming to Newham in September 2025. DSEI is one of the world’s largest arms fairs and in 2023, exhibited 48 Israeli domestic arms companies.

The workers mobilisation will take place on Sunday 7 September outside of the Excel Centre. The aim of the action is to demonstrate that as workers, we will not stand by and watch while weapons being used to commit atrocities globally are being sold, and arms companies responsible for their manufacturing are creeping into our schools, hospitals, and public institutions. Through this mobilisation, we are aiming to create a network of trade unionists that are resisting the arms trade in their sectors.
