WHY NOW? dED at DSEI 2023

Join dED at 1pm at the East Entrance to the ExCeL centre/docklands (Royal Albert Way, near the Premier Inn), in partnership with the (DEA) team for a series of Julian Assange film screenings, including dED’s 7 Myths series! This is followed by a joint event with Stop the Arms Fair (STAF) presenting ‘WHY NOW?’ from 2pm – 4pm to showcase brilliant speakers to challenge the arms trade status quo and spark peaceful change.

This September, the world’s biggest arms fair returns to London ExCeL to showcase weapons. War mongerers and human rights abusers will attend, so let’s act in solidarity. Join us in opposition as we break down the arms trade, one myth at a time.

We will also join the morning walk from 11am – 1pm with the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and the Mad Hatters (Trident Ploughshares) will host a peaceful walk from Stratford Station to London ExCeL. dED will be walking alongside the Don’t Extradite Assange (DEA) team and members honouring the late Vivienne Westwood.
