Join us on September 10th to explore the violence of policing and prison systems, and their relationships to the arms fair. Arms traded at DSEI are increasingly targeted at and used by police forces worldwide: to surveil domestic populations; to violently police local communities; and to suppress dissent. DSEI Arms Fair is fuelling the ever increasing militarisation of policing worldwide. We must come together to dismantle these violent systems and shut DSEI down!

Increasingly, arms traded at DSEI are being used not just by the military, but by police forces worldwide: to surveil domestic populations; to violently police local communities; and to suppress dissent. Join us on Sunday 10th September to explore the issues of policing and prisons and their deep relationships with the arms trade. – We will hear from inspiring speakers, many with lived experienced of police repression and the violence of the prison system, about how these issues affect our communities. – There will be “Know Your Rights Trainings” as well as talks about new police powers in the UK. – We will explore Britains position at the centre of both modern policing practices globally and the global arms trade. DSEI Arms Fair is fuelling the ever increasing militarisation of policing worldwide. We must come together to dismantle these violent systems and shut DSEI down!
